ECDL Certification and ICDL Certification
The ECDL Foundation awards ECDL or ICDL certification to those who have passed one theoretical test on basic Information Technology concepts and six practice-based tests using a personal computer and common computer applications. To prepare for these tests, an individual may take courses from Focus Systems, a certified ECDL and ICDL vendor. Being a certified ECDL/ICDL vendor means that Focus Systems courseware has been approved by the ECDL foundation and meets the criteria of version 3.0 of the ECDL syllabus.
